Translating AI-driven cancer science into accessible website content for Curenetics

Founded by frontline NHS Clinician and Oncologist Sola Adeleke, Curenetics is pioneering personalised cancer care with AI-powered prediction of treatment response.

Over 3 million patients live with cancer in the UK alone, with 1,000 new diagnoses every day. Curenetics’ technology will enable patients and their doctors to make better-informed decisions about the best route of treatment while prioritising their quality of life.

THE SCOPE

• Website strategy session
• Clinical team interviews
• Tone of voice development
• Website copywriting
• Team biography copywriting

The brief

Curenetics had been focused on developing the technology and results, but as they scaled and opportunities for partnerships and investment grew, the team recognised the need for a stronger digital presence.

An existing self-built website presented inconsistent content and muddled navigation, falling short of the professional face they now required. The brief called for Curenetics’ deep clinical and technical expertise to be translated into a website that could speak confidently to both specialist and non-specialist visitors.

The work

Structuring the site around the visitor, not the science

Before writing a word, we mapped a new site structure with clear pathways for different audiences, ensuring investors, partners and clinical visitors could quickly find the content most relevant to their needs.

Each page was structured to suit its purpose, from step-by-step breakdowns of the prediction process and highlighted key benefits to concise but rich trust-building bios of key team members.

Strategic headings and subheadings broke dense information into digestible sections, each written in plain English to clearly signpost core messages.

translating complexity into clarity

Working closely with Dr Adeleke through in-depth briefing sessions, I explored every aspect of Curenetics' objectives, audiences and technical approach, from genomic and histopathological data to the mechanics of the AI model.

I reframed complex ideas around patient outcomes, offering clear insight into Curenetics’ real-world impact for non-specialist investors and partners, without losing the valuable detail needed by more technical readers.

developing a balanced tone of voice

Clinically serious but warmly human, I shaped a consistent tone-of-voice focused on accessible explanations of complex science. Technical concepts were broken into simple, grounded definitions, supported by logical sequencing that reinforced credibility. This gave the content a confident, mission‑led feel, offering assurance without overclaiming.

The difference

Curenetics now presents innovative science through a clear, credible and confidently structured website, in language investors, partners and clinicians can all understand.
